Role SummaryThe IT Helpdesk Engineer will be the first point of contact for end-user support and technical assistance. The role requires diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues, managing user access, supporting enterprise applications, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure across the organization. Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to user queries via email, phone, or in person, and provide timely technical support. Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop hardware, printers, and other peripherals.

Provide support for operating systems (Windows/macOS) and company-approved software applications. Manage user accounts, email access, and file sharing permissions (e. g. , Google Workspace, Microsoft 365). Monitor and support IT infrastructure, including networks, internet, Wi-Fi, and VPN. Maintain asset inventory records and assist in onboarding/offboarding IT tasks. Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level engineers or vendors where necessary. Document issues, solutions, and updates in the ticketing system. Assist in implementing IT policies and security measures (e. g. , endpoint protection, updates). Support remote users and troubleshoot connectivity issues using remote support tools.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk role. Strong understanding of hardware, software, networking fundamentals,meeting room support and troubleshooting. Experience with tools such as Google Admin Console, cybersecurity , remote desktop software, and MDM. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Preferred SkillsITIL Foundation certification or equivalent is a plus. Google Professional Workspace Administrator Professional Certificate Experience with ticketing tools (e. g. ,Freshservice, Zendesk, ). Knowledge of basic cybersecurity and endpoint management.
