Trading card category manager (sports & pokemon) - UAE

About the RoleWe’re looking for someone with real experience in the trading card industry — ideally from a distributor, retailer, or major reseller — to lead and grow our cards business in the UAE.You’ll be responsible for sourcing, buying, pricing, and managing all aspects of the trading card line, including partnerships with leading stores like Virgin Megastore, convenience chains, and hobby retailers.Key Responsibilities • Source and purchase trading cards across major brands (Panini, Topps, Upper Deck, Pokémon, etc.) • Build and maintain supplier relationships regionally and internationally • Manage product assortment, pricing, and margin optimization • Prepare product files (SKU lists, images, barcodes, descriptions) for retail partners • Monitor market trends, new releases, and collector demand • Advise management on inventory strategy, grading, and product selection • Coordinate with logistics and finance for shipments, stock updates, and reportingRequirements • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in trading card distribution, retail, or e-commerce • Strong understanding of sports & Pokémon card markets (releases, demand, grading, resale values) • Excellent Excel / Google Sheets and organizational skills • Based in the UAE (or willing to relocate) • Fluent in English; Arabic a plusIdeal Profile • Worked previously with Panini / Topps / Pokémon distributors or at a major reseller / trading platform • Has a strong network in the card community and knows how to source efficiently • Passionate about collectibles and has hands-on experience buying/selling • Entrepreneurial mindset and able to work independentlyType: Full-time, UAE-basedCompensation: Competitive salary + incentives based on performance and sales growth
