A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.  Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Schedule, direct, and manage field operations.Oversee equipment availability; assign flaggers, trucks, and extra flaggers when needed.Maintain contact with flaggers; receive and dispatch response and emergency aid when needed.Monitor flaggers’ working hours to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.Communicate and coordinate with clients.Manage the safety of all jobsites.Available to customers and clients during non-scheduled hours for emergencies.Oversee equipment availability; assigns drivers, trucks, and extra drivers when needed.Travel to job sites. Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones. Including warning signs and traffic cones according to PA Publication 213 PATA standards.Load and unload work zone equipment to and from the company vehicle.Drive the company vehicle to and from job sites in a safe manner as needed.Wear and maintain proper PPE in accordance with Rylind Traffic Services policy.Adhere to all company policies and procedures.Other job duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to lead and communicate effectively.Ability to multitask and manage personnel.Proficient in using a computer and multiple applications. Must have reliable transportation, follow attendance policy and be ready to work at their designated start time.Must pass a drug screen prior to employment and maintain a drug-free status.Must be able to work with limited supervision.Education and Experience: High school or equivalent, technical school or college experience.Minimum five (5) years traffic control and/or dispatching experience.Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel.Must be at least 18 years of age.Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and  sit for long periods of time.Must be able bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, squat, twist body repeatedly.Position may require frequent walking throughout the jobsite.Work may be performed in an environment with exposure to extremely hot materials, fuel, fumes, vapors, dust, grease, and oils, as well as loud and/or constant noise and exposure to moving equipment.Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly daily.Must be able to lift 30lbs from the floor to your head.Speak, read, write, and comprehend English.Use of hands repeatedly.Walk and climb uneven surfaces unassisted.Sit for travel to and from job sites.Must be able to work the hours necessary in order to achieve the goals of the company.This job description is not designed to cover or contain all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.RG King Companies Inc complies with government regulations and affirmative action responsibilities.
