Traffic Engineer

China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC ME) is recruiting a Traffic Engineer with strong experience in temporary traffic management, traffic diversion planning, and tender-stage traffic engineering support.Responsibilities: • Develop temporary traffic diversion schemes for tender submissions based on projectrequirements, site constraints, and authority standards.• Prepare technical methodologies, staging plans, and traffic management strategies thatensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.• Coordinate with the tender team to integrate traffic diversion requirements into the overalltechnical proposal.• Provide technical support to project teams for traffic diversion planning and authoritysubmissions.• Review project traffic management requirements and ensure compliance with RTA, DubaiPolice, and local authority standards.• Assist in revising or updating traffic diversion plans as required by site conditions or authoritycomments.• Lead and guide drafting staff in preparing high-quality traffic diversion drawings.• Review and verify drawings to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with RTA Traffic ControlGuidelines.• Manage workload distribution and ensure timely delivery of all drawings related to trafficmanagement.Qualifications and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field.• Minimum 4 years of experience in traffic engineering, traffic diversion planning, ortransportation-related technical roles.• Hands-on experience with RTA standards, temporary traffic management requirements, andauthority approval processes in the UAE/GCC.• Experience preparing traffic diversion schemes for tender submissions or project works.• Proficiency in AutoCAD; ability to guide drafters on traffic drawing standards.• Strong understanding of road safety principles and temporary traffic management guidelines.• Experience or certification in Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) from recognized traininginstitutions or consultancies• Dubai Municipality (DM) Engineer Registration• Society of Engineers – UAE (SOE) Membership• Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) Engineer RegistrationIf you have the skills and experience to excel in this role, send an Email to careers_cscib@cscec.
