Ensuring you are responsible for yourself and/or team members who report into youSurvey & plan the traffic management layout required for the required site worksComplete site risk assessments, carry out regular site checks and make relevant equipment adjustments as required based on site conditions and requests from the client or general publicInstall, maintain and remove temporary traffic management equipment as per chapter 8 requirements and provided Traffic Management PlansCarry out “Stop & Go” activities, setup temporary traffic light systems, manage pedestrian walkways and road closures as requiredEnsure a safe working environment is maintained for crews, pedestrians and road users while working on footpaths & roadwaysSafety load and unload Traffic Management equipment from vehicles at our yard and site locationsComply with all of Actavo’s safe working policies and proceduresEnsure PPE & Equipment is in good working order and use as prescribedRepresent Actavo and our clients in a positive and professional manner and manage public queries in an efficient and effective wayRequirements:SLGSafe PassManual HandlingDriving licenseMinimum 1 year’s onsite traffic management experienceAbility to understand site maps and following written and spoken guidelinesAbility to use mobile devices and Apps for managing & documenting worksExcellent communication skills and able to operate a 2-way radio systemClass B driving license for driving company vehiclesStrong communication skills in English and confident communicating with peoplA team player, happy to support other members of the team and work well in a small fast-paced team is essentialA good level of written and spoken English is requiredThe ability to organise your own workload and deal with conflicting priorities, while ensuring timelines are met even at short noticeFlexible working hours and ability to work evenings and weekends as requestedComfortable to work outdoors for extended periods of timeBenefits:Pension planLife assurance – 4 times your annual salaryEmployee assistance programmeRefer a friend schemeMaternity payEmployee discounts – on hotels, gyms, electronics and moreEducational assistanceCareer progression opportunitiesLong Service Awards
