Our mission is to create a place where people, nature, and culture thrive in harmony.Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Trail Organizer to support our trail experiences on the AW Trail in Bali. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a passion for hiking and nature, and a good understanding of Balinese culture and history. In addition to organizing and facilitating trails, the role includes basic data collection and documentation using simple digital tools to support Astungkara Way’s quality control and continuous improvement.Main ActivitiesIn cooperation with the AW Trail team and in close collaboration with local partners and partner organizations during the trail:1. Trail FacilitatingBe available overnight and weekends for 10–16 day trails.Maintain accurate timekeeping to ensure trail experiences are delivered completely and on schedule.Bridge communication between local partners and participants.Prepare destinations and ensure readiness of facilities.Collect feedback and share daily updates with the team.Take photos and videos during the trail for both pilgrim documentation and social media content needs.Ensure participant safety and experience quality.Ensure local partners are ready for participant arrivals.Adapt to changing conditions and ensure participant safety.Send daily progress reports via WhatsApp.Coordinate with trail guides to ensure quality and consistency.2. Data & Impact Support (Junior-Level)Collect and organize trail data (participant numbers, feedback, partner notes).Use tools like Google Sheets and Forms to record and track information.Maintain organized records and help create simple summaries or charts.Support documentation systems and contribute to tracking social, environmental, and economic impacts.Stay curious and proactive in learning how data improves trails and outcomes.Goals and ChallengesUnderstand Astungkara Trails and regenerative tourism practices.Engage effectively with participants and support trail operations.Ensure consistent and accurate data collection for quality control.Adapt to changing conditions and coordinate with the team to maintain high standards.Required Skills and ExperienceStrong interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent Indonesian and good English (spoken and written).Comfortable using Google Sheets, Forms, or similar tools.Detail-oriented and organized.Passion for hiking, nature, and teamwork.Leadership and problem-solving abilities.Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.Familiar with Astungkara Way’s work through website and social media.Bonus: interest in farming, eco-tourism, or sustainability.First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.About UsAstungkara Way was founded in August 2020 and is led by a young and highly motivated team.
