Location: Andover area (including nearby villages)Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE + overtime + monthly bonus after probationJob Type: Full-time, permanent, Monday-Friday 7:30am-5pmAre you practical, hands-on, and eager to build a career in a specialist engineering trade?We are a well-established, family-run business that designs, manufactures, and installs high-quality bespoke automated gates for the residential market. Known for craftsmanship, honesty, and a passion for perfection, we are looking for a Trainee Automation Engineer to join our growing team.What you'll be doing:Working alongside experienced engineers on site to install and automate bespoke gatesDigging posts, running cabling, and assisting with electrical installationsSupporting the commissioning of control boards and systemsWorking outdoors in all weather conditionsLearning key skills such as groundwork, gate fitting, problem solving and welding (training provided if required)Travelling to different sites (sometimes up to 100 miles) with occasional late finishes to meet deadlinesWhat we're looking for:Enthusiastic and reliable with a strong work ethicEnjoys hands-on work and problem solvingComfortable working outside in all conditionsFull UK driving licence preferredBased in or around the Andover areaWhat we offer:Salary up to £30,000 DOELots of overtime opportunities, paid at your standard hourly rateMonthly bonus scheme after 6-month probationFull training provided with real career progressionTools, van, uniform, and lunch providedFriendly, supportive team environmentInterview process: Two stages — initial Teams interview followed by a face-to-face meeting.Start date: ASAP.If you want to build a long-term career in a growing industry and learn from the best, we'd love to hear from you.IND25
