From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.Role OverviewPerform specific calibrations, NDT, and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection of partsCorrect interpretation and understand the inspection operation sheets and work instructionOrganize, sort and prepare the parts for NDT inspectionLoad, unload, and operate either the real-time XR, UT or auto FPI line effectivelyPerform either X-Ray Inspection, Ultrasonic Inspection, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, Eddy Current Inspection, Magnetic Particles Inspection in accordance with the inspection operation sheetsEnsure the equipment operation readiness alwaysAssist the Engineer for any inspection evaluation and reportingUpkeep of process system and testing equipment to ensure its continuous operations in compliance to approved documentsPrepare and clean parts before and/or after inspectionConduct audits in NDT area to ensure continuous system compliance to meet regulatory agencies requirementsPerform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasksThe Ideal CandidateWithin 3 years of graduation OR the operationally ready date (ORD) for national servicemenSingaporean/Singapore PR only in order to meet Singapore government requirements for a strong Singapore core and for the Singapore government grants to be applicable.Required QualificationsFull Time Nitec/Higher Nitec in Automation Engineering / Aircraft Engines Maintenance / Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from local ITEFull Time Diploma in Aerospace Engineering / Mechatronics / Aeronautical Engineering / Aerospace Technology / Aerospace Avionics from local PolytechnicsAny relevant Full Time Nitec / Higher Nitec / Technical Diploma / Polytechnic Diploma or relevant engineering disciplines from local ITE or PolytechnicsAble to read & write English at a professional working proficiency level Able to work rotating shiftsWilling to accept a 1-year bond after the programPreferred QualificationsA team playerAdditional InformationAt GE Aerospace, we are always searching for great talent.
