Trainee Engineer

About The OpportunityIndustry: Engineering & Technology Services (Product engineering, embedded systems, and software development). We deliver end-to-end engineering solutions and IT services for clients across industrial, IoT, and enterprise software domains. This is an on-site, entry-level role based in India focused on hands-on engineering learning and execution.Role (Primary title): Graduate Trainee EngineerRole & ResponsibilitiesWork on assigned product or client projects under senior engineer supervision to design, develop, and test software or hardware components.Translate requirements into clear technical tasks, produce clean code or design artifacts, and execute unit and integration tests.Support prototype development and validation cycles: debugging, root-cause analysis, and iterative improvements.Maintain project documentation, version control hygiene, and assist in preparing release notes and build artifacts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams—QA, firmware, mechanical, and product owners—to deliver milestones on schedule.Participate in learning programs, code reviews, and follow engineering best practices for quality, safety, and maintainability.Skills & QualificationsMust-HaveBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.Hands-on familiarity with at least one programming language: C, C++.Working knowledge of Linux-based development and command-line workflows.Experience using Git for version control and collaborative developmentWillingness to work full-time on-site in India and commit to structured training and project rotations.PreferredExposure to embedded systems, microcontrollers, or hardware-software integration.Internship or academic project experience in product development, IoT, or industrial automation or VLSI.Benefits & Culture HighlightsStructured graduate training program with mentorship, hands-on projects, and skill certifications.Fast-learning, collaborative engineering culture that values ownership and measurable outcomes.Opportunities to rotate across software, firmware, and product teams to accelerate career growth.Skills: c,embedded c,linux,c++
