As a Trainee in Natixis’ Financial Institutions Coverage team, you’ll be part of a small, high-performing group that works closely with banks, insurers, asset managers, and other financial clients across Australia and New Zealand.In Natixis’ Sydney office, you’ll experience the best of both worlds — the senior visibility, variety, and responsibility that come with working in a tight-knit team, combined with the reach and expertise of a major international financial institution. You’ll collaborate daily with senior people locally and product specialists across Natixis’ global network in Paris, Hong Kong, and beyond.Main ResponsibilitiesAccount opening, Document negotiation, Credit analysis for limits, Assist the KYC and legal process.Support client coverage in delivering tailored financing, advisory, and risk management solutions.Prepare client presentations, credit models, pitch materials, and internal credit papers.Conduct research on clients, markets, and regulatory developments affecting the financial sector.Assist with transaction execution, coordination between internal stakeholders, and follow-up on deal progress.Monitor risks, financial performance of clients, and maintain client databases and pipeline reporting.Contribute to internal projects, marketing initiatives, and cross-border collaboration within the FIG and product teams.An understanding of sustainability principles is helpfulWhat We’re Looking ForThis role is ideal for someone eager to build a career in investment banking — someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working across multiple disciplines, and values both analytical rigour and client interaction.
