Job Description

DescriptionPierre Herme Paris Japon is looking for a Training Expert who will be responsible for learning and development. The Trainer will handle the creation, update and execution of training programs related to brand culture, product knowledge, sales & operations, and communication, to strengthen the brand, deliver the luxurious customer experience of Pierre Herme, and maximize the sales. These programs will be managed in collaboration with the retail and marketing teams. Also, the Trainer will work closely with the training team in France, sharing information and implementing tools together including a digital platform. The responsibilities will eventually expand beyond retail to include training sessions for the office and production.Mission & ActivitiesPlan and adapt the training programs▪ Prepare and manage the annual training calendar, review the catalogue regularly, and update it to meet the constantly evolving needs and trends of the business▪ Assess effectiveness of programs by gathering feedback from the staff or the top management and controlling results systematically, and adjust the materials accordingly▪ Implement materials developed by HQ when relevant to the Japan market and localize where necessary, and discuss with the central team regularly to stay up to date▪ Act as ambassador of the brand in all stores, contribute to strengthen the company culture as a luxury goods company, and boost the morale of the staffLead the implementation of new training services▪ Propose and develop new materials in partnership with internal stakeholders, including for techniques such as cross-selling, up-selling, or customer profiling▪ Take over the implementation of the mystery shopper and develop further the customer service store dashboard with various KPIs such as audits, NPS and / or social media metrics▪ Lead the implementation of the digital training tool and portal “PH Academy” and bring it to life for the Japan staff audience, ensuring a high rate of acceptance▪ Stay constantly aware of modern training techniques studied worldwide and be a strong source of proposals, not hesitating to be innovative and disruptiveCarry out various training sessions▪ Conduct brand culture trainings at induction for new entrants, and follow the store managers with mission and leadership training for better sales performance▪ Conduct product knowledge trainings in partnership with Marketing, both general and season-specific, with aspects such as inventions, ingredients, tastes, and storylines▪ Conduct communication and sales trainings in partnership with Retail including teamwork, business manners, claim management, customer service, and operations▪ Assess needs for individual trainings for managers or specific staff, working closely with the HR Business Partners, to proactively reduce risks and boost performanceRequired Qualifications▪ Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, psychology, or organizational management▪ At least 3 to 5 years of experience in training, coaching, or sales & operations▪ Good understanding of the retail industry; experience in sales is a plus▪ Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills with strong leadership▪ Business-level Japanese and English fluency▪ Proactive, agile and entrepreneurial personality with self-learning capabilities
