Job Mission: The Training Manager is responsible for developing and delivering impactful training programs to strengthen the company culture, support and inspire people in their professional growth and development to enable everyone to be and deliver at their best. The role drives ensuring partnership with Accademia Valentino. S/He directly deals with execution of company training projects within the area failing under her/his remit (including store opening) to support organizational goals. Constantly monitors service standards within the stores, according to guidelines set by the HQs and motivates sales staff to guarantee the highest level of service.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Job Descriptions: Implement Global Retail Learning Initiatives:Coordinate the global learning calendar, collaborating with HQ teams to align local strategies with business priorities.Works closely with Line Managers and liaises with Accademia in order to identify the training and development needs of employees.Shares best practices with Accademia, stimulating new ideas.Explains and clarifies Accademia programs and objectives to employees.Fosters a learning culture in the area falling under her/his remit.Delivery of training contents:Conducts internal training for new recruited employees.Translates the HQs training materials if necessary.Liaises with Accademia in order to schedule training calendar and set up training sessions both locally and in Milan.Delivers training programs within the area falling under her/his remit (following company delivery methods).Adjusts training contents from HQs if necessaryStore training:Delivers locally training on the Valentino Selling Ritual if necessary.Motivates and coaches Sales Staff to actualize Valentino Selling Ritual by providing high levels of service.Monitors improvement of service standards within the stores through different key performance indicators (sales targets, mystery shopper assessments).Assures an assessment mechanism to evaluate standards of service within the Stores.Constantly visits the shops of competitors and reports to Management Team and Accademia any relevant information regarding local events, best practices and selling rituals.Reporting activities:Liaises with HQs in order to define budget for annual programs and to draw up forecasting analysis.Liaises with HQs HR for producing all reporting requirements.Evaluates and analyzes training effectiveness and transfers all relevant information to Line Managers and Accademia by producing in-depth reports.Other activities:Assist in enhancing colleague engagement through targeted strategies based on engagement survey results and other KPIs, and contribute to the rollout of inclusivity and equity initiativesPOSITION REQUIREMENTS: Qualification:BA degree or above. Relevant major preferredSelf-motivation, enthusiasm and results-focusAt least 7 years of experience in Retail TrainingExpertise in retail training know-how and coaching skillAbility to conduct in-house/in-store training & coaching sessionsProfessional facilitation skills are requiredExcellent communication skillsFluent in spoken and written EnglishMust have good personal organization and strong administration skillsProficient in MS-Office Minimum 5 years of experience in fashion/luxury industryCompetencies:Excellent Communication SkillsClient-focusedResult-drivenStrategic & analytical thinking
