We work with some of the world’s largest and most complex companies to understand their unique business issues and opportunities in an ever changing environment.The Transaction Services team is an integral part of the Advisory division and focuses on supporting our clients' investment or divestment decisions. If you join our team, you will have the opportunity to work with the pioneering Transaction Services team in Portugal, getting involved in M&A transactions with frequent media exposure. You will support strategic and financial investors (including private equity firms) in the financial and business due diligence process, aimed at acquiring businesses or preparing for sale transactions.Your Responsibilities Together with your project team, you will gather and analyze financial and operational management information from businesses in different sectors and of varying complexity, aiming to report conclusions that support investment (buy-side due diligence) or divestment (vendor due diligence or vendor assistance) evaluations and decisions; Your analyses will focus on understanding trends in the evolution of results, working capital, debt, and cash flows, with the aim of identifying risks and opportunities associated with a particular business; You will frequently participate in meetings and/or presentations; You will prepare analyses in Excel, Power Pivot, Power Query, and/or Alteryx, as well as reports in PowerPoint and PowerBI; You will interact with M&A teams, investment banking, and other due diligence teams, including legal, tax, environmental, and commercial; You will support the team in business development processes and in preparing commercial proposals; Projects may be carried out in our offices (Lisbon and/or Porto) or at company premises, often in a virtual dataroom environment, with the possibility of working partially in a hybrid setup (our "flexwork"). Profile We are looking for candidates with a degree and/or master's in Management, Economics, Finance, or related fields; A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial auditing, financial due diligence, M&A, management control, or other financial functions; Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, synthesis, and attention to detail; Good interpersonal skills; Dynamism and a strong team spirit; Ability to learn and evolve quickly; Responsibility and resilience; Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written); Knowledge of Data Analytics; Knowledge of Microsoft Power tools, Alteryx, and Power BI is a plus (optional).
