Voyago is hiring Part Time and Full Time Patient Transfer Attendants for our York region Your Role You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residenceYou can provide outstanding customer serviceYou have excellent communication skillsRequirementsYour ProfileYou must possess the following qualifications:

You have a valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder CertificationYou have a Valid BLS certificate or CPR Level HCPYou possess a valid G class driving licenseYou can remain calm in an emergency situationYou have the ability to lift 250+ lbs.

using a stretcher or stair chair with partnerYou can effectively communicate in both verbal and written EnglishYou are a safe driver with a clean driving recordYou can obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable SectorYou have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 month.
