Lead transformative M&A deals and high-impact productivity initiativesDrive enterprise-wide cost optimisation and labour efficiency, delivering measurable bottom-line results.Be a key strategic leaderLocated in Australia/New Zealand (regular travel required)As the Transformation & M&A Director, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO and helping shape the company’s three-year strategic roadmap. This role blends high-level strategic direction with hands-on execution, driving enterprise-wide transformation, operational excellence, and growth. You will lead major cost-saving and system improvement initiatives, and play a pivotal role in steering the business through ongoing change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Your core focus will be operational transformation—redesigning labour models, optimising scheduling, and driving efficiencies across the workforce. You will lead end-to-end implementation of enterprise systems, ensuring successful adoption, tracking performance through KPIs, and embedding governance and accountability across key capital projects. These efforts will support a more agile, cost-effective, and scalable organisation.In parallel, you will manage the full M&A lifecycle, from identifying and evaluating opportunities to executing integrations and planning exits. You will focus on realising operational synergies, ensuring seamless team transitions, and implementing systems that support long-term value creation. With a strong background in operations, transformation, and M&A—ideally within infrastructure, utilities, or environmental services—you bring the ability to lead complex change and deliver measurable outcomes.
