Over its 40-year history, LanguageLine Solutions ensures the best interpreting and translation services available in the industry.Main Job PurposeThe Project Manager role will be responsible for managing a key account and/or portfolio of key accounts and reports to the Project Management Team Leader. The key objectives of the Project Manager include customer engagement, task allocation as well as managing the completion of translation, localisation, transcription, alternative format, proofreading, voiceover and subtitling projects. The salary we are offering for this role is 80,000 – 95,000 PLN. Specific TasksManaging complex projects ensuring quality, delivery on time and within budgetSupporting direct customer engagement, to include status update calls and conflict resolution calls, face to face, video or telephoneEvaluating requests, preparing files, producing quotes, arranging schedules and ensuring client is kept up to date on progress throughout the customer workflow cycleTaking ownership of projects at a customer level to drive the accounts forward and proactively streamline processesUtilising industry knowledge with any complex/non-standard quoting and triggering when to defer to Pre-Sales to support customers find the best approach for their translation requirementsSupporting customer forecasting and capacity analysisDay-to-day management of supplier queries and client liaisonTroubleshooting and analysing root cause in order to initiate improvementsIdentifying risk and taking ownership and/or escalate risk as appropriateBuild strong relationships with clients and provide a high level of customer service in order to encourage further business opportunities, ensuring any potential new business opportunities are escalated as appropriateSupporting account review with client and preparation of operational reports, where applicable (this includes support during QBRs, monthly scorecard meetings, F2F client meetings etc.)Driving appropriate linguist usage, negotiating with vendors, linguist feedback loop and escalation to Vendor Management Support in driving process improvements, to increase profitability, quality and work cultureSupport in implementation of new requirements stemming from contractual reviewLiaise with sales staff and other key stakeholders effectively to clarify project parametersPrepare and maintain project documentationEstablishing and maintaining excellent relationships with our global resourcesCompliance with relevant and applicable proceduresQuality checks and signing-off of deliverablesDelivery of finalised work to clients, ensuring that all deadlines are metCreating client invoicesCoordination of project teams and assignment of responsibilities to more junior team membersMentoring and training of interns and Junior PM’sWorking to KPIs and increasing gross and net profitMaintaining records as required and adhering to ISO procedure and requirementsTake personal responsibility for ensuring that personal information is used fairly and lawfully within GDPR guidelines, report any personal data security incidents immediately and abide by the Information Security Policy detailed in the Staff HandbookAny other duties appropriate to the position.Person SpecificationThe following range of experience, knowledge and skills are required:EssentialExcellent verbal and written English communication skillsImpeccable presentation, communication and customer service skills, with the ability to clearly present updates and requests for information to the clientGood leadership skillsStrong organisational and multitasking skillsStrong negotiation skillsProblem-solving and analytical capabilitiesExcellent attention to detailAbility to work well in a team within a multi-language/multi-cultural environmentProactive approach to supplier follow-up and project managementAbility to work independently and meet deadlines under pressureAbility to identify efficient working practices and adopt these throughout the project life cycleTelephone SkillsAdvanced IT skillsDesirableDegree educatedTranslations BackgroundProficiency in Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools (SDL Trados Studio, XTM, MemoQ)This will be a fully remote role.This role is subject to an enhanced DBS DisclosureEqual Opportunity Employer.
