The Concast Precast Group is a leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of precast concrete structures in Ireland and the UK. Our head office is located in Newcastle, Co. Dublin.We Are Currently Seeking a Transport Assistant To Join Our Team. The Successful Candidate Will Assist In The Planning, Coordination, And The Delivery Of Precast Concrete Products To Various Construction Sites. The Ideal Candidate Will HaveExperience in planning deliveries of heavy goodsIdeally experience of construction and can read CAD drawingGood computer skills including Microsoft word and excelExperience with heavy haulage, transport qualification ideally requiredAvailable to work at our offices in Dublin (not remote role)Good communications skills are essentialForklift experience preferredKey Activities IncludeAssisting in the planning/scheduling of loads to sites in UK and IrelandEnsuring compliance with transport legislationExperience of securing loadsManaging incoming deliveries to the plant, off-loading smaller deliveriesAssisting in the completion of paperworkContacting sites and haulage contractors on a daily basisEnsuring health & safety requirements are implemented at all timesStrong communication interpersonal skillsManaging the maintenance programme with our FittersAll applications in confidence.
