We are growing, innovating, and solving the challenges of our clients every day—with our special spirit: we're on it!RequirementsThis RoleThe position of Transport Planner (AUS) will work as part of a team which plans, books, monitors, and reports on transport routes and WG services across Australia, New Zealand & Europe; the role will also involve designated accounts with primary responsibility.The ideal candidate will be able to perform administrative tasks efficiently and to a high standard, in accordance with standard operating procedures. The successful candidate will ensure all queries and requests are dealt with promptly and professionally. They will be responsible for the preparation of documentation, maintaining files and completing financial transactions.Work Location: Villawood, New South Wales (Greater Sydney Area), AustraliaRole & Responsibilities:Plan shipments and routes to optimize resource utilization while meeting client SLAsEnsure compliance with working time regulations and relevant road safety lawsActively monitor all in-transit shipments, providing timely updates to colleagues and customersMaintain accurate milestone updates in line with SLA requirementsCoordinate and book shipments with subcontractors, overseas offices, and staff to ensure adherence to schedules and SLAsLiaise with clients, ATC operations, and field teams to ensure service levels are maintainedWork closely with clients' supply chain functions to ensure schedules are met and accurately reportedRespond to changing customer demands seamlesslyCommunicate effectively with customers to understand and meet their requirementsEnsure proofs of delivery / activity are actively managed and sent to the customer in a timely mannerWorking as part of a planning team with cross-training for colleaguesLiaising with accounts team to ensure accurate billingEnsure all customers emails and requests are acknowledged in a timely mannerEnsure all booking emails are implemented in accordance with Customer Communications SOPEnsure all steps in checklists are followed and completedEnsure comprehensive closure of all jobs, capturing all detailsAssist with European planning activities when requiredAny other duties that may be assigned from time-to-time in line with your skills and competenciesCandidate RequirementsAbility to be flexible in respect of work standards and demands. Capable of working under pressure and to strict deadlines. Proven ability to complete tasks. Resilient and able to deal with changing priorities.The successful candidate will be required to possess and demonstrate: Substantial experience transport planning for 1+ years Experience in the logistics industry, including white glove services Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent IT skills, including Office 365 and Microsoft OfficeThe following qualifications, skills and experience would be an advantage.Degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Planning, or a related fieldCertifications in transport planning, freight management, or logisticsExperience of MS SharePoint in a corporate environmentNote: We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
