Employment Type: Full-TimeLocation: Tokyo, JapanWork Style: Hybrid (2 days per week in the office; Core hours 10:00-16:00)Department: FIT Inbound / FIT Operations / FIT ReservationsReports To: Department Team Lead / ManagerAbout EXO TravelFor more than thirty years, EXO Travel has been expanding horizons and creating lasting impacts through travel.Our reputation as a pioneering destination management company is built on our commitment to sustainability, industry-leading technology, and a passionate team of travel experts.Since our founding in 1993, we have empowered travelers to discover the world authentically by connecting them with unique cultures, people, and landscapes.As a B Corp Certified company operating in eleven destinations across Asia, we remain dedicated to building a business that positively impacts our employees, communities, and the environment.About the RoleWe are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our growing Tokyo team.Depending on your interests, skillset, and professional background, you may be considered for one of several positions within our Inbound, Operations, or Reservations teams.Whether you enjoy crafting unique travel experiences, ensuring flawless tour execution, or managing reservations and supplier relationships, this is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that delivers unforgettable journeys across Japan.We welcome candidates with or without prior travel industry experience - training will be provided for the right person who shares our passion for travel and service.Potential Areas of ResponsibilityTravel Consultant (Inbound)Communicate with overseas agents and partners, providing accurate and creative travel information.Design and quote tailor-made itineraries for international clients.Coordinate with local suppliers and hotels to ensure seamless arrangements.Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure smooth tour execution.Manage bookings and sales records using Tourplan and other systems.Operations Officer (FIT Operations)Oversee tour file accuracy and coordinate with guides, drivers, and suppliers.Manage on-the-ground execution, ensuring the highest quality of service.Handle reconfirmations and last-minute arrangements.Liaise across departments to ensure smooth delivery of all services.Maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.Reservations Officer (FIT Reservations)Handle hotel and supplier bookings, confirmations, and data entry.Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best rates and conditions.Ensure booking accuracy and compliance with company procedures.Support and train junior reservation staff when needed.Work closely with the Product and Inbound teams to maintain up-to-date contracts and rates.Who We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Tourism, Hospitality, or related field a plus)Open to all experience levels - from no industry experience to experienced professionalsStrong communication skills in English and Japanese; additional languages are a plus (Spanish / French)Excellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesA team player with a customer-first mindset and strong attention to detailComfortable using Google Workspace and travel-related systems (training provided)Why Join Us?At EXO Travel, we believe that great travel experiences start with great people.You’ll work in a collaborative, international environment that values creativity, cultural understanding, and service excellence.We offer:Comprehensive training and mentorship for newcomers to the industryClear pathways for growth within the company and strong potential for advancement based on performanceA workplace where diversity, collaboration, and sustainability are at the heart of what we doJoin us in shaping meaningful journeys and sharing the beauty of Japan with the world.
