Job Description

Summary: Responsible for directing, coordinating, supervising and managing the activities of the department to achieve established objectives and targets. Responsible for managing certain balance sheet items of the Company pertaining to Treasury functions. Responsibilities: Supervise the department in the performance of their duties and responsibilities in accordance with the corresponding Company policies, systems and proceduresMaintain effective check and control measures on the department’s activities. Analyze and supervises the monitoring of fund movements and formulate policies and guidelines on fund management. Apply, obtain and ensure availability of interbank lines with other banks.

Recommend interest rates via Guide Rate Sheet for money market placements based on forecast and prevailing local interest rates for various tenors. Manage / monitor available balances in depository account and coordinate with marketing for their funding requirements. Provide details / data of the department for the preparation of management / regulatory reports. Coordinate with HRD to ensure continuous training and skills upgrading of the department’s regular and new employees. Direct, guide and motivate officers directly supervised, and evaluate their performance. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree Holder, preferably in Management, Economics, AccountancyAt least 7 years’ experience in Treasury functionsBanking/Financing Industry/ Bank or financing related functions
