Our board-certified physicians specialize in the prevention, diagnosis and management of an array of neurological disorders, including headaches, epilepsy, autism, ADHD, neuromuscular disease, neuropathy, sleep disorders, small-fiber polyneuropathy, stroke and more.Our Neurology practices are located at 10 Members Way in Dover, NH, and 73 Corporate Drive, Portsmouth, NH. This position will support our expert providers treating adult patients, as well as pediatric patients. Our services include diagnosis and treatment options for headaches, migraines, epilepsy, stroke, neuromuscular disease, sleep disorders and more.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Triage RN to join our team in a 36-hour per week role. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.The initial 90-day training period will be onsite, with time split between our Dover, NH and Portsmouth, NH offices. After successful completion of training, this role will transition to a remote (work-from-home) schedule.Responsible for patient care and support within our hospital's outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.Does this position require Patient Care? YesEssential FunctionsDeliver direct patient care and support in our ambulatory care unit, ensuring high nursing standards.Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.QualificationsEducationAssociate's Degree Nursing Required And Bachelor's Degree Nursing PreferredCan this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?NoLicenses and CredentialsRegistered Nurse [RN - State License] requiredBasic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferredExperienceClinical nursing experience 0-1 year required and Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferredKnowledge, Skills And Abilities Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
