Reporting to the Finance Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in United Arab Emirates and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our External Finance and it’s growth. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Finance Officer support to client’s in delivering the overall financial management and regulatory reportingManage the day-to-day activity of the finance and accounting operations of our clients, ensuring that responsibilities are organised and carried out efficiently and within agreed timelines.

ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities Core responsibilities of Finance OfficerEnsure the company’s capital resources and liquidity of the firm are in compliance with its regulatory requirements at all timesOngoing liaison and reporting to the senior management Development of strategic direction, goals, and objectives for all reporting sections within the finance function, ensuring alignment with the strategic plans of the companyPreparation of monthly quarterly and annual EPRS returns (PIBs)Coordination and preparation of financial and management reports, business plans, business activity reports, financial position and cash forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports required by regulatory authorities including statutory audit and tax complianceMaintain knowledge and understanding of the applicable financial and regulatory reporting requirementsProvide accounting and bookkeeping support where requiredAssist in authorization projects, prepare financial projectionsOperational and Process ImprovementPeriodically review processes and procedures within external finance department provide suggestions for process improvements where it deemed necessaryAssist with process improvement and implementation of strategy updates once agreedAdvocate a strong risk and compliance cultureKnowledge/Skills RequirementsAbility to work effectively as part of a team and liaise with individuals as requiredGood organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to prioritise and meet deadlinesSelf-motivating and able to work accurately at speedIT literate with a high level of competence in Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks desirable)Proactive with positive attitude and reliable approach towards workProfessional Qualifications And Minimum Relevant ExperienceA minimum of 4 years’ experience within a similar roleRecognised qualification in Accounting (ACA or ACCA) or similarBackground in regulated financial services entity, esp.
