As a key member of the Customer Enablement and Documentation team, the Instructional Designer’sprimary role is to create and iterate training content and support training initiatives that servecustomers, partners, and Trintechers. What You'll DoDevelop proficiency and expertise in Trintech’s product suite to deliver first-rate training to customers, partners, and Trintechers. Attain/maintain knowledge necessary to be fluent in all products for which you create content, including the business purposes of each, how to use them, and best practices. Demonstrate expertise in learning principles and adult learning methodology to deliver training that achieves learning objectives.
Work with departmental leadership to update existing standards, advocate for and define new standards, and establish best practices with learning principles and learning methodologies in mind. Collaborate with Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts across the organization to validate new and evaluate existing course materials for a diverse group of users at a variety of technical proficiency levels.
This is an iterative process to establish and maintain engaging learning activities that can include reviewing/revising course materials for effective delivery and messaging, communication of proper application of accounting concepts, adding/editing course exercises that reinforce key learning objectives, and updating training environments. Build a cross-departmental network of Subject Matter Experts to consult with for content development, fostering an enthusiastic, iterative, and collaborative partnership. Develop and maintain training content, including course descriptions, course outlines, learning objectives, content, exercises, exams, and training guides, consistent with departmental standards. Develop and maintain eLearning and video content consistent with departmental standards.
Employ creative design skills to create supporting interactive materials and media. Serve as the liaison to specific learning communities, such as partners, to design, build, and implement training programs to meet the requirements for each learning community. Assist in promoting training to drive adoption for specific learning communities. Deliver in-depth and interactive technical training to users in various learning settings, which includes multi-day classroom training, multi-day virtual training, and webinars, as needed. Execute interactive virtual training using Zoom, WebEx, or similar platforms, as needed. Upload and manage content within the Success Centers and LMS, as needed.
Provide support for training operations, as needed. Provide support for Success Center and LMS, as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Who You Are Fluent Norwegian or Swedish and English2+ years of experience developing training content for internal/external training. 2+ years of experience and career development in technical learning. 2+ years of experience delivering online training through an LMS, including eLearning, videos, and other learning methods. Experience with financial software is highly favorable. 2+ years of experience delivering software training in a classroom setting or virtual setting. Proficient in adult learning theory, instructional design, and learning evaluation methodologies.
Excellent training, presentation, facilitation, research, and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal skills in face-to-face and virtual settings to create an environment conducive to learning for diverse participants. Organized and detail oriented. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Word. Experience using Zoom, WebEx, or similar platforms to facilitate virtual training and webinars. This is highly favorable. Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Ability to quickly adopt knowledge of new technology and software. Experience with Trintech products is highly favorable. Strong working knowledge of design platforms such as Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia or similar platforms is a plus.
