Truck Driver

Job PurposeThe Heavy Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating heavy trucks to transport goods, materials, or equipment to and from specified destinations. The driver ensures compliance with all traffic regulations, company policies, and safety standards while maintaining the vehicle in optimal working condition.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy-duty trucks (trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or containers) in compliance with traffic and company regulations.Transport cargo to assigned destinations safely and on time.Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness (tires, brakes, lights, oil, etc.).Maintain accurate logbooks of driving hours, fuel usage, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.Load and unload goods, securing the cargo properly to prevent damage or shifting during transit.Report any accidents, traffic violations, or mechanical issues immediately to the Fleet or Maintenance Department.Follow assigned routes and schedules while ensuring fuel efficiency and timely deliveries.Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the truck at all times.Assist in minor vehicle repairs or coordinate with the workshop for major maintenance.Adhere to all company safety policies, including the use of PPE and compliance with speed and load limits.Qualifications & RequirementsValid Heavy Vehicle / Trailer Driving License (Saudi license preferred).Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a heavy truck driver, preferably in logistics, transport, or industrial sectors.Good knowledge of Saudi traffic laws and highway routes.Physically fit and capable of handling long hours or night driving when required.Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor breakdowns.
