On behalf of our client, we are seeking a new Trust Accountant to join their team:Overview:The Accountant is responsible for treasury, accounting, financial reporting, and audit support functions across company and client entities.Key Responsibilities:Monitor cash balances, validate payments, and prepare instructions for disbursements.Oversee junior accounting staff to ensure accurate recording of transactions.Process vendor invoices, initiate and record payments, and reconcile balances.Prepare client billings, track collections, post receipts, and reconcile receivables.Record investment activity and reconcile portfolio data.Investigate missing or inconsistent investment transactions.Complete month/quarter/year-end close, including accruals and reconciliations.Prepare management accounts, supporting schedules, and variance analyses.Generate ad-hoc financial reports as needed.Prepare audit packages and draft financial statements.Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.Qualifications:Bachelorâs degree in business administration or financeMust be pursuing a professional Accounting qualificationMust have at least 2 yearsâ experience in an accounting roleMust have experience in preparing financial statements
