Trust & Compliance Officer - Blockchain Wallet InfrastructureLocation: Remote - Must be in the European Union (remote-first, office optional). France/ Paris or as close as possible, is always preferred.Compensation: $95K - $165KJoin a stellar team of leaders and experts in blockchain technology, cryptography, infrastructure, and security to build the backbone of blockchain wallet infrastructure for the next financial era. We are hiring a Trust & Compliance Officer to manage our security frameworks and global regulatory requirements, ensuring we meet the highest standards of trust, resilience, and compliance across various financial and digital asset regulations worldwide.Reporting to the CISO, this role demands both precision and adaptability. You will be the central figure for all trust, security, and compliance matters, designing and enforcing compliance programs, leading audits, and acting as the main point of contact for clients and regulators. You will also integrate compliance requirements into product architecture and support clients in meeting their own regulatory obligations.Responsibilities:Compliance Program Management: Manage compliance programs across multiple security frameworks (NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 22310, CCSS Level 3, etc.)Regulatory Readiness: Monitor global regulatory requirements (DORA, FISMA, MiCA, BVLA, etc.) and ensure the organization is ready for adherenceAudit & Certification: Coordinate internal and external audits, certifications, and assessmentsPolicy Development: Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation required to meet compliance obligationsProduct Integration: Partner closely with the product team to integrate compliance into architecture, operations, and feature developmentStakeholder Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, regulators, and auditors on all compliance mattersRisk Management: Conduct risk assessments and recommend tangible improvements to our security and trust postureTraining: Deliver internal training and promote a culture of security and compliance across the organizationRequirementsExperience: 7+ years of experience in compliance, information security, and/or risk in the finance sectorFramework Expertise: Hands-on experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NISTGlobal Regulation: Strong understanding of global regulatory regimes, including digital asset frameworks like MiCA and GENIUSAudit Leadership: Proven success leading audits, managing certifications, and confidently interacting with regulatorsTechnical Familiarity: Familiarity with PKI, cloud infrastructure, and secure software development practicesSoft Skills: Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and regulatory requirements into clear business actionsPreferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):Certifications: Holds industry certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or ISO Lead AuditorBenefitsTitle: Trust & Compliance OfficerSalary: €80,000-€140,000 per year (full-time)Equity: 50-150 stock options vested over 4 yearsHealth & Retirement: Comprehensive healthcare and a pension planLocation: European Union (EU) based (remote-first, office optional)Equipment: MacBook Pro and essential equipment providedImpact: Critical role building resilience and trust for foundational blockchain infrastructureDue to the high volume of applications we anticipate, we regret that we are unable to provide individual feedback to all candidates.
