Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex construction projects across sectors such as shopping malls, airports, high-rise buildings, hospitals, and hotels. Key Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and adapt comprehensive project plans that define scope, budget, schedule, and deliverables. Oversee procurement activities including bid evaluation, contract negotiation, and supplier/subcontractor management. Ensure compliance with all relevant local regulations, including environmental guidelines and building codes. Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and site personnel, to ensure seamless collaboration and execution.
Monitor project progress through site visits and reporting tools; identify risks and implement corrective actions as needed. Manage project budgets and resources effectively, implementing cost-control strategies to ensure financial discipline. Provide regular progress updates, reports, and risk assessments to stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment. Enforce rigorous quality control measures, ensuring all construction work meets project specifications and industry standards. Engage and manage stakeholder expectations across the entire project lifecycle, fostering clear communication and trust. Conduct post-project evaluations to capture key learnings and improve future project delivery frameworks. Candidate Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are highly desirable. Minimum 15 years of experience in civil construction project management, with at least 8 years in the Middle East. Proven expertise in managing large-scale, multidisciplinary projects in sectors like commercial, infrastructure, hospitality, and healthcare. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex project data under pressure. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate diverse project teams.
