Amentum has an exciting position available in Pyeongtaek, South Korea for an Electronic Security System (ESS) Operator / Security Guard.These duties and responsibilities are not mutually inclusive.The following responsibilities include:Operate and monitor the ESS; perform access control, personnel and vehicle screening (to include searches of individual hand carried items and vehicles). The COG should have decision making authority over contract performance as well as command and control authority over contractor personnel performing security guard duties. When ESS is not operational, dedicated security sentries shall be posted as a detection screen at intervals to ensure a high probability that intrusion attempts will be detected by the posted sentries. ESS Operators / security Guards may also be required to escort non-cleared personnel into controlled access areasWhen the ESS is operational, operate and perform operator level maintenance on ESS, including testing, evaluation, drill, and Force Protection (FP) exercises and operating radio network control system. ESS Operators / Security Guards shall record all alarm activations, actual or test and is responsible for reporting and recording all alarm activity and responses to include requests for repair to failed detection, monitor and video systems. ESS operators shall have at least two years of experience of physical security operations. This work will require a schedule of various hours and shifts to meet a 24/7 monitoring of the facilities. Must be able to interact and communicate professionally with senior program leadership (e.g., be able to articulate concerns, frame potential solutions, etc.). Must have a working knowledge of construction safety. Must be able and willing to work outdoors in inclement conditions. Must have the ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to work independently in a detail oriented environment. Must be self-motivated and interested in continuing his/her education in the standard practices and procedures of the CSS industry. Required Qualifications:Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. TS/SCI Clearance. Experience in dealing with the public. Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree. Training/Certifications 1 years in construction security surveillancePrevious CAG experience at overseas or domestic project sites (2-3 projects). Counterintelligence or Intelligence Analysis. Construction surveillance, technical surveillance countermeasures, industrial or government security experience involving counterintelligence, construction quality assurance, and hands-on supervisory construction experience.
