Open Position: Project Management OfficerWork Location: Shan State, MyanmarIndustry Type: Fiber Compound Infrastructure ProjectWork Type: Full TimeApplicant: Myanmar Citizens onlyAbout the Role: We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Project Management Officer for one of our Business Units in Shan State. This role is responsible to support the project planning, coordination, and execution of major telecom infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will contribute to the success of multiple nationwide projects by overseeing progress tracking, vendor coordination, documentation, and communication across internal and external stakeholders.

This role involves working closely with telecom operators, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with strategic business goals. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and monitor the execution of various telecom infrastructure projects, including rollout and upgrade initiatives. Track project progress, budgets, and schedules, ensuring deliverables are met with quality and compliance. Manage procurement documentation including PO/PR tracking and support financial reporting. Liaise with clients, vendors, and technical teams to maintain strong working relationships and service excellence. Prepare and maintain project reports, risk logs, meeting minutes, and status dashboards.

Identify and address potential project risks, supporting mitigation planning and issue resolution. Assist in project closing procedures, documentation handover, and performance reviews. Support process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency. Facilitate internal coordination and drive team accountability on timelines and responsibilities. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline. PMPยฎ Certification holder is preferable. Minimum 3โ€“5 years of relevant experience in telecom or infrastructure project coordination. Strong understanding of project governance and project lifecycle best practices. Experience managing documentation, procurement processes, and budget tracking.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations. Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, and Jira or similar systems.
