Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa's farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing complex projects and coordinating across multiple teams in a fast-growing organization, and a propensity for innovation.ResponsibilitiesLead strategic projectsYou will report directly to the Tupande Strategy and Operations manager and execute critical strategic projects needed in order to achieve Tupande's vision. Example of the projects: Starting Micro Business Loan, Improving Order Delivery Time, Exploring Tea Export Market etc.Internal secondmentsYou would spend a significant portion of your time embedded fully into critical functions to provide short-term support on critical strategic projects and functionsLeadership Team coordination and internal commsYou will support the activities of the Tupande leadership team and coordinate team meetings and internal communicationsCareer Growth and DevelopmentWe have a strong culture of constant learning and we invest in developing our people. For this role specifically, you will have:Exceptional project management and stakeholder management skills.3+ years of management consulting experience preferredExcellent interpersonal skills and proficient at understanding the motivations of different groups and teams, and supporting them to work together.They will need to navigate ambiguity and balance multiple priorities: running field pilots, coordinating cross-departmental teams (Agronomy, Logistics, Sourcing, Finance), and ensuring timely delivery across many moving parts.Analytically minded, using data coupled with sound business judgment to influence business decisionsAt a minimum, a Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
