Lecturer – Mathematics LecMTH/25Job SummaryThis role involves preparing and delivering engaging face-to-face and online lectures, developing course materials in alignment with curriculum guidelines, assessing student performance, and providing academic support. The lecturer contributes to a dynamic learning environment by fostering critical thinking, enhancing student understanding, and supporting their academic and professional development.
Key ResponsibilitiesCourse Design and Preparation: Assist in developing course outlines, syllabi, and learning objectives for courses. - in collaboration with industry partners to include current market demands. Content Delivery: Deliver engaging and informative sessions to students, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles eg. Lectures, tutorial sessions. Assessment and Grading: Develop assignments, quizzes, exams, and other assessments to evaluate student mastery of course materials. Curriculum Development and Review: Collaborate with departmental colleagues to review, revise, and develop curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with program goals, accreditation standards, and industry best practices.
Minimum QualificationBachelor's degree and a master's degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics or a relevant subject area from an accredited and recognised institutionTeacher’s certificationExperience3-5 years post-qualification experienceLocation: - Grand TurkAnnual Salary: - USD58,873. 00 – USD63,400. 00Overseas recruits are eligible for a Housing Allowance of USD7,800. 00 per annum.
