Typesetter

Our commitment to excellence and innovation has fueled our growth, and we are now looking for a highly organized and proactive Typesetter to join our team.In this role, you will be co-working with editors and graphics designers in order to style texts and illustrations making sure typefaces, point size, line length, leading, and other elements of typographic design have been used according to the specifications of each project. Key Responsibilities:Typesetting, formatting and correcting text in adobe InDesign according to each book titleWork with the editorial and graphics teams to ensure that the final product meets their expectationsTypesetting in word documents Converting already existing books from Quark to InDesign.Ability to lead a team as well as coordinate with other departmentsAssist in admin support Skills & Qualifications:A degree in graphic design, art, or similar disciplineExcellent knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop will be considered an assetExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Adobe ReaderFluent in the English language A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot spelling, grammar and punctuation errorsProven work experience as a typesetterFast typing skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesWhat we offer:Competitive renumeration packageGroup Life & Health Insurance for you and your family membersExposure to a variety of projectsA diverse and inclusive working environment
