Vehicle Technician, Bristol Branch

U-Drive are recruiting for a competent and diligent vehicle technician to join our established and highly reputable team at our satellite Bristol workshop! Working alongside a professional and knowledgeable team, you'll undertake a variety of service, maintenance and repair work on a wide range of vehicles, keeping our Fleet on the road. About The RoleAs a vehicle technician at U-Drive, you'll be based at our Bristol workshop, helping to keep our mixed fleet of 4000 vehicles on the road. These vehicles range from small cars through to light commercial vehicles meaning that no two days will be the same.

You'll be working a 42-hour week on a Monday-Friday rota. Core ResponsibilitiesUndertake pre-planned vehicle maintenance on both customer and U-Drive vehiclesPerform test drives, inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problems exist and determine which parts need to be repaired or replacedComplete preventative maintenance on vehicles including oil changes and replacing brakesGenerate timelines and estimates on repairs, discussing options with customersMaintain accurate records relating to customers, their vehicles, parts, and service historyUse workshop equipment as instructed, performing regular maintenance and repairs when requiredAny other duties as requiredRequirementsAbout YouSuccessful candidates should demonstrate the following skills and competencies:
