Full-timeJob SummaryThe Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, overseeing loan processing, and ensuring the financial soundness of the branch’s credit portfolio. This role involves supervising subordinates, evaluating loan applications, deposit mobilization, mitigating risks, and fostering strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in microfinance lending, loan recovery, and risk management.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate, supervise, market loan products and process loan applications for CustomersOversee subordinates and evaluate loan processing to determine customers financial eligibility and feasibility of repayment of loansDetermine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up loan payment plansComplete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictionsOpening loan applications conducting loan analysis by visiting the business and household of clientsVisiting the business /employer of guarantors and preparing a complete loan assessment according to the bank’s credit proceduresPresenting loan proposals to the credit units and informing the client about the decision of the credit unitsEnsuring punctual repayments of acquired loans from clients, contacting and visiting all parties based on needsEnsuring high quality standards of the bank’s credit portfolioAbility to meet and exceed targets while actively working to increasing business portfolio and clients’ base.
Qualifications And ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study or relevant professional qualification would be an advantageMinimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in financial services. Minimum of 2years of experience in a managerial positionpaticularly ina microfinance bank. Good interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills.
