The role will also have responsibilities over related Partner Firms within the Private Sector Retirement Solutions segment, including The Retirement Plan Company, Ingham Retirement Group, The Paragon Alliance Group, Long Island Employee Benefits Group Ltd. , Pension Administrative Services Inc. , and Jim Hallinan Pension Consulting, LLC. The Segment also has a Service Center based in India. US offices are in Albuquerque, NM, Brentwood, TN, Lakeland, FL, Miami, FL, Hartford, CT and Iselin, NJ (National Office). This is a full-time W-2 position (Remote). While remote the company does have a preference for candidates to live near a Partner Firm office.

PPC is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Operations Analyst to help build our growing retirement practice. The position will play a key role in the execution of PPC’s billing, working closely with the Senior Operations Manager and PPC billing team. This position will also play a highly visible role in the ongoing integration of existing and newly acquired firms into the greater Private Sector Solutions platform. These integration responsibilities will require frequent interactions with personnel of other Partner Firms.

Integration responsibilities will include supporting the adoption of Private Sector Solutions billing and reporting standards, integrating billing systems and data, and the aligning of metrics with segment and company-wide needs. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Science, or related field3+ years of experience in billing, revenue management, or financial analysis, preferably in the retirement or financial services industryAdvanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial software(e. g.

, MS Dynamics, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP)Strong understanding of billing systems and revenue recognition principlesExpertise in managing and analyzing large and complex data setsExperience with data querying and analysis tools (e. g. , SQL, Python, R) is a plusExperience with multiple entities and consolidations preferredDesired Skills:

PPC Billing ManagementWork closely with the Senior Operations Manager and PPC billing team to execute PPC billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms and industry regulationsDevelop and implement billing processes to improve efficiency and reduce errorsCoordinate with internal teams to resolve any billing discrepancies or client inquiriesExecute assigned billing as needed and support the delegation of billing processes to other resources as neededEnsure accurate reporting of revenue-related expenses, including custody fees, referral fees and transaction feesMonitor flow of funds to ensure billings are properly settledBilling Conversion and ConsolidationDevelop a strong understanding of billing processes executed by other Partner Firms within the Private Sector Solutions segmentWorking closely with the Senior Operations Manager, PPC billing team and Private Sector Solutions billing team, assist in the evaluation and establishment of segment-wide billing standards, leveraging knowledge gained from PPC and industry-leading practicesSupport the development and execution of a plan to convert PPC billing and other legacy Partner Firms to the Private Sector Solutions standard practicesLeverage tools available on the Private Sector Solutions technology platformIdentify opportunities to improve processes and drive alignment between Partner FirmsIdentify risks associated with the billing conversion and make recommendations that lower risk of error or client disruptionReporting and Revenue AnalysisConsolidate data into meaningful reports for management using available tools including Excel, Word, Power BI, etc.

Monitor and analyze revenue streams to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesProactively review billing processes and data to identify opportunities to prevent leakage and grow revenueWork with the finance team to reconcile billed revenue with general ledger accounts, record intercompany transactions, and provide compliance and audit support as neededRevenue Share and Other IncentivesSupport the capture of provider-paid asset-based compensation, with compensation tracked and applied at the plan levelDevelop process to track and apply discounts and other incentives offered to clientsAcquisitions and IntegrationGain a strong understanding of the billing process at newly acquired Partner Firms and map to the Private Sector Solutions standardPlay a key role in billing integration of newly acquired Partner Firms and other books of business, working closely with billing SME’s, IT/development, accounting and key contacts at the newly acquired Partner FirmsData Management and AnalysisHandle large and complex data sets, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the billing and revenue processesClean and preprocess data to prepare it for analysis, including identifying and rectifying data discrepanciesDevelop and execute queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sourcesUse data analysis tools and techniques to provide actionable insights and support decision-makingProcess ImprovementIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance billing accuracy and efficiencyCollaborate with IT and operations teams to optimize billing systems and toolsAdopt best practices from the Daybright National Office and other Partner FirmsEstablish SLA’s to measure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of billingEnsure key processes are fully documentedCross-train with other billing SME’s and other teams to ensure continuity of operationsClient RelationsServe as the point of contact for billing-related queries from clients, billing teams and other internal stakeholdersAssist in the negotiation of billing terms with new clients and in the review of existing client contractsSupport the capture of provider-paid asset-based compensation, with compensation tracked and applied at the plan levelDevelop process to track and apply discounts and other incentives offered to clients
