PwC’s Tax Group in Bermuda has exciting internship opportunities. As an Intern, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. As an intern in the Tax Group, you will assist offshore businesses, individuals and organisations with their U.S., Bermuda and international tax strategy, planning and compliance, while delivering a wide range of business advisory services. During your time at the Firm, you start to establish your personal brand, paving the way to more opportunities.As an Intern, you will be involved with:The preparation of U.S. and / or Bermuda tax returns and other tax filings for our clients with a focus on insurance companies and investment funds; Conducting tax research and drafting tax technical research memoranda; Meeting with existing and potential clients to discuss tax issues;Proactively assisting the team in various aspects of tax compliance and / or consulting projects;Contributing to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen;Keeping up to date with local and national business and economic issues; andWork on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand Our team helps our clients identify and reduce tax risks, meet compliance obligations, implement tax strategies that complement business and operational objectives, resolve disagreements with tax authorities (when needed), and manage tax accounting and reporting issues. You’ll gain experience and insight while engaging in projects dealing with U.S., Bermuda and international tax compliance and consulting matters.To apply, you must meet the following requirements: Bermudian status, PRC, Spouse of Bermudian or permission from the Bermuda Department of Immigration to seek employment in Bermuda required;Progress towards obtaining at least a Bachelor's degree at an accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.2 (B+ average) or its equivalent required; andStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Successful applicants will be highly organized, dedicated and self-motivated; and have excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
