This position is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and supports our international subsidiary, Cincinnati Children’s Global Healthcare Consultancy, a wholly owned entity of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. While the job is posted under the parent company, the role will operate within the UAE-based subsidiary, focused on expanding our global healthcare initiatives.Job Profile SummaryA Critical Role that supports the seamless delivery of care for patients and families as part of our collaboration with Abu Dhabi Health Services (SEHA), Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) Hospital, and the Department of Health (DoH) International Patient Care (IPC) program. This role assists with the intake of patient referrals from our partners in the UAE and collaborates directly with the medical director of the UAE program working closely with teams at SKMC and Cincinnati Children's Hospital to ensure access for patients and families approved for Total Care Program (TCP) clinics at SKMC or travel to Cincinnati Children’s for care. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for patients and families in the UAE seeking care with our UAE program. Job ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementMaintain and manage a comprehensive database of patients from the UAE in collaboration with the Cincinnati-based Destination Excellence team, clinical divisions, and the UAE Program Office.Serve as an active member of the UAE Program Management Office (PMO), participating in regular meetings, providing updates, and proactively identifying and escalating opportunities and challenges.Facilitate weekly patient care coordination meetings with the IPC Department of Health (DoH) and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.Patient Care OperationsAct as Initial Point of contact for all referrals from the UAE (IPC, UAE embassy, and UAE military) and collaborate with Cincinnati Children’s UAE Program Medical Director to review referrals. This includes collating medical records and presenting to Cincinnati Children’s subspeciality teams ensuring timely responses to our UAE partners. In coordination with our UAE program team and key clinical and operational stakeholders, design, implement, and maintain standardized processes for international patient intake and care coordination.Act as a central liaison for patients, families, SEHA, SKMC, and Cincinnati Children's Hospital teams before, during, and after the Visiting Physician Program and Total Care Program clinics. Work closely with UAE program and SKMC Care Managers. Assist patients and families with Visa documentation/application and orientation prior to travel to the United States.Assist patients and families with financial resources to help secure coverage for care. Coordinate closely with the Cincinnati Children’s based Destination Excellence team to schedule appointments that are both timely and responsive to the travel needs of patients and families.Partner closely with the Cincinnati Children’s based Destination Excellence team in ensuring handoff of patients and families travelling to Cincinnati for medical carePartner closely with the Cincinnati Children’s based Destination Excellence team in ensuring handoff of patients and families repatriating back to the UAE following care completion in Cincinnati. This includes ensuring appropriate follow-up care in the UAE. Ensure clinical teams have the necessary resources, access, and support to deliver high-quality care. Work to standardize workflows to ensure consistency and excellence across patient experiences.Job Qualification Bachelor’s degree in nursing 3+ years of work experience in a related job disciplineProficiency in Arabic preferredExperience with international patient care coordination and complex patient populationsExperience with UAE healthcare systemActive UAE RN License. May be required to obtain other state licensure.
