Your missionBuild, assemble, and wire UAV power, signal, and control systemsEstablish and improve small-batch production and lab workflows for electro-mechanical integrationRepair UAVs after test flights or missions; implement robust fixes and prevent recurrencesDesign, build, and maintain wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and connector interfacesTest and validate assembled systems under real-world operating conditionsSupport field operations with hands-on diagnostics, quick repairs, and retrofit improvementsCollaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software teams during system integrationTrain technicians and junior engineers on assembly methods and repair standardsContribute to continuous improvement of production documentation, jigs, and QA processesYour profileStrong background in mechatronics, electro-mechanical systems, or related fieldsProven practical experience in UAV, drone, or robotic system assembly and repairHands-on experience with RC aircraft, FPV drones, or DIY robotics is highly valuedSkilled in soldering, crimping, harnessing, and basic electronic diagnosticsFamiliar with low-voltage design, DC/DC converters, fuses, and EMI protectionComfortable using CAD tools for reference and integration workExperienced with mechanical assembly, adhesives, and precision fittingStrong troubleshooting mindset; able to fix under pressure and with limited specsCapable of producing clear, usable repair and production documentationHands-on, iterative builder who focuses on reliability, not perfectionNationality of a NATO member nation or close ally is a mustSuccessful candidates will be required to obtain security clearanceMETAIntrinsic motivation, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving mindsetCreative thinker with a structured and systematic approachHumble and collaborative — prioritizes collective success over individual recognitionHigh ethical standards and disciplined work ethicExtra-curricular leadership or achievements are a bonusWhy us?Do you feel that you fit the description, but don't think you fulfill all the criteria 100%?
