Head of Supplier Relationships

The WhyThe Head of Supplier Relationship Management will lead our procurement team which includes Procurement coordinators and relationship managers to onboard and manage 3rd party suppliers, in line with our strategic ambitions and risk frameworks.

The role is critical to ensure our partners deliver optimal performance, risk is effectively managed, and our supplier relationships contribute to long term value ,resilience and innovation, in line with Ubank’s strategy.

Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the Ubank procurement strategy and key processes Segment and simplify our suppliers based on strategic importance, risk, and value contribution Drive innovation through strategic partnerships and supplier collaboration Establish and lead supplier governance and relationship management frameworks as well as performance metricsDevelop robust supplier lifecycle management practices including onboarding, contracting, performance monitoring and offboarding Lead strategic relationships with key suppliers, including technology providers, cloud vendors, outsourcing partners Ensure compliance with APRA CPS 230 (and 234?), other relevant third-party risk management regulations, and standards within the Group Partner with Legal, Risk, NAB procurement to maintain robust supplier controls ommercial & Performance Outcomes Identify opportunities for cost savings, value creation and commercial efficiency Negotiate high value contracts and ensure favourable terms and conditions Your ExperienceKnowledge and solid experience within Financial Services particularly around:

Procurement or supplier relationship management (10+ years) across both Digital Business and Technology platforms. Deep understanding of third party risk management and compliance obligations along with regulatory expectations Experience influencing key stakeholders both internally and externally to balance commercial, risk and strategic outcomesNegotiation experience to deliver value on price, service levels, innovation, risks sharing and continuous improvementProject management , people leadership and a Strong commercial acumen Why Ubank?Flexible Work Environment: Enjoy a hybrid working model with 3 days in our vibrant Sydney CBD office.
