UI/UX Designer

Job OverviewWe are looking for a UI/UX Designer who will be responsible for translating business requirements into beautiful user interfaces and impactful user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role with a sound understanding of and working experience with at least one UI/UX design tool (such as Figma or Adobe XD).About AlphaVentureAlphaVenture is a digital transformation agency that partners with companies that are looking to adopt or build innovative, scalable, and people-friendly digital.We are a team of highly motivated developers, designers, researchers, and strategists that are partnered together to build digital experiences that matter. Our motto is to keep things simple, useful, and scalable whether we are working on a platform that serves millions of customers or building a digital strategy for a small company. Key ResponsibilitiesGather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with project managers and engineers.Translate business requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.Work with the creatives team to develop and deliver style guides, design systems, and design patterns based on business requirements.Create overall concepts for the user experience within a project, ensuring all interactions are intuitive and easy for customers.Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how an interface functions and looks like.Design various UI elements such as menus, buttons, widgets, etc.Illustrate and present ideas and concepts through rough drafts, storyboards, sitemaps, and process flows to stakeholders.Identify, troubleshoot, and propose solutions for UX challenges and problems (e.g. responsive design).Incorporate user feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience.Bridge the gap between user-interface design and technical implementation of those designs.Work directly with stakeholders and clients to develop the overall look and design of an interface.Adapt to changing requirements from clients and come up with solutions to solve design problems.Take a user-centered, data-driven design approach to rapidly test and iterate your designs.Required QualificationsBachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Arts, or equivalent.1+ years of experience of working as UI/UX Designer.Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.Proficiency with at least one UI/UX design tool such as Figma or Adobe XD.Nice to have is proficiency in a graphic design tool such as Adobe Illustrator. Sound understanding of various UI challenges and how to overcome them such as cross-browser compatibility issues, mobile responsiveness, etc.Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.What matters to us beyond skills and qualificationsFor thriving and succeeding at AlphaVenture, you should be:Looking to do meaningful work and deliver value with everything you do.Intellectually curious and smart.Willing to learn and explore new things every day.Honest and ethical in all professional and personal matters.Passionate about the work that you do.Willing to take ownership of projects, tasks, and activities assigned to you.Looking to make an impact with your unique skill set and deliver value to clients across the globe?
