We are growing fast and have many ideas to design and test. We need a designer who can understand our users, make their work easier, and turn difficult problems into clear designs. You will help us move faster and improve the product every day.What you’ll do (first 90–180 days)Lead end-to-end product design for a major workflow: research → concept → prototypes → polished UI.Run lean discovery: customer calls, field shadowing, and scrappy tests to validate direction.Translate complexity into clear information architecture, interaction patterns, and states.Create design systems (tokens, components, guidelines) that scale with speed and quality.Partner tightly with PM/Eng to scope MVPs, make smart tradeoffs, and instrument outcomes.Ship. Learn. Iterate. You’ll own outcomes, not just artifacts.What makes you a great fit4–8+ years as a Product Designer or similar for web apps/SaaS (startup or zero-to-one preferred).Portfolio showing shipped, complex workflows—not just marketing sites.Comfortable with ambiguity; you self-initiate research, explore alternatives, and pick a path.Strong systems thinking: IA, state management, error/empty/loading, and accessibility basics.Proficiency in Figma; fluent with prototypes from lo-fi to hi-fi.Curious by default; you ask “why” until the problem’s skeleton shows.Excellent collaboration and crisp written communication.Nice-to-havesDomain experience in insurance industry.Familiarity with analytics/telemetry, experiment design, and outcome-driven roadmaps.Experience creating or evolving a design system in production.Comfort reading API docs or peeking at JSON/network logs to understand edge cases.What success looks likeWithin 30 days: you’ve mapped user mental models and shipped small UX wins.Within 90 days: a critical workflow is redesigned, measurable friction drops.Within 6 months: our design system is adopted, velocity and consistency improve.What We OfferJoin a small, dynamic team: Every team member plays a critical role and has a voice.Opportunity to work on innovative, high-impact projects that reshape the insurance industry.A collaborative and supportive environment where creativity thrives.Professional development opportunities and career growth within the company.Full-time, fully remote position with flexible working hours
