Our client, a respected leader in the insurance industry, is seeking an Underwriting Administrator to join their Fiduciary Division. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, professional environment where technical expertise, precision, and growth are valued.Minimum Requirements (Must be met in full)✅ Completed Honours Degree in Risk Management, Business, Accounting, or Finance (not negotiable)✅ RE5 qualification (not negotiable)✅ 1-2 years’ experience in the insurance industry (advantageous)✅ Proven technical and administrative competenceSalaryR220 000 to R 300 000 total cost to company per annum - dependent on skill and experience𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀• Underwriting new and renewal business in line with procedures and underwriting standards• Processing new business, endorsements, cancellations, and renewal• Liaising with brokers, internal teams, and auditors• Handling queries, reports, and ad hoc projects• Contributing to underwriting discussions, broker functions, and training presentations• Investigation and resolution of internal and external queries• Reporting where required• Assistance with projects including broker functions and other marketing initiatives• Ad hoc projects relating to the Fiduciary workflow• Maintaining relationships with brokers/service providers• Broker visits, training and meetings (which may require travel) and co-ordination of such• Conducting presentations when needed• Researching material related to product lines and producing articles for publication in various industry publications• Assist in the promotion of the Company and its reputation in the market• Understand the role and fiduciary duties required• Understand and operate within mandate, treaty and any other relevant requirements𝗜𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗼...• Communicates confidently and professionally, both verbally and in writing• Has a strong grasp of regulatory rules and insurance legislation• Possesses excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills• Is detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure• Thrives in both collaborative and independent working environments• Demonstrates strong customer service, negotiation, and relationship management abilities• Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)• Maintains a positive attitude and takes initiative to support the wider teamThen this could be the perfect opportunity for you! 🌟💡 Only candidates who meet 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 will be considered.
