As the Uniform Shop Convenor, you will contribute to the efficient operation of the school uniform shop by ensuring a wide range of uniforms is available at reasonable prices for the school community.Additionally, you will coordinate and support a network of community volunteers to deliver a high-quality service.This role reports to the Canteen Supervisor and School Business Manager.This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.47FTE), 36 hours per fortnight.About The SchoolWynnum State High School is a vibrant and inclusive educational institution committed to fostering academic excellence, personal growth, and community engagement. You will manage stock, coordinate volunteers, and maintain a high standard of service to meet the needs of the school community.Key Responsibilities IncludeSupporting the school's dress code standards by providing a range of uniforms at reasonable prices.Managing and coordinating uniform shop volunteers, including creating rosters and ensuring a positive work environment.Monitoring shop procedures to deliver efficient and effective services for the school and its Parents and Citizens' Association.Liaising with suppliers to manage stock levels, storage, and rotation, and conducting monthly stocktakes.Participating in budget development and maintaining the security of the uniform shop.This role would suit an organised and community-focused individual who is passionate about supporting students and their families.About YouWe are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team.The Following Traits Would Be BeneficialStrong organisational and time management skills.Experience in retail or stock management.Ability to lead and coordinate a team of volunteers effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with the school community.Basic financial management skills, including budgeting and stocktaking.Why Join UsAt Wynnum State High School, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to making a positive impact on the school community.
