Chief Financial Officer

WE ARE LOOKING FOR Chief Financial OfficerAs Unikie’s Chief Financial Officer, you will lead and develop the company’s finance function to support our continued growth and international expansion. You will be a key member of the management team, acting as a trusted partner to the CEO and sparring partner to the business, ensuring that financial leadership, processes, and structures meet the needs of a fast-paced, technology-driven organisation. Location: Helsinki or Tampere, FinlandReports to: CEOKey ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the finance team (currently five professionals across Finland) to deliver excellence in financial leadership and support business growth.

Drive the creation, improvement, and streamlining of financial processes, tools, and systems. Provide strategic financial insight and modelling to support decision-making, business planning, and performance management. Manage corporate finance and potential M&A activitiesEnsure robust financial controls, compliance, and reporting across the organisation. Partner closely with the CEO and management team to align financial leadership with strategic objectives. Required QualificationsThe ideal candidate will: Be able to independently manage the company’s finance function and actively contribute to the development of the company through participation in the management team.

Have the ability to model and manage a technology services business through strong numerical and business insight. Bring experience in company finance and potential M&A, and possess the capability to integrate business entities during periods of inorganic growth. Show interest in financial tools and take the lead in streamlining and modernising financial systems and processes. Be hands-on with the details of financial management and able to guide and develop the team to support transformation. Be a strong team player who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and collaborates well with founders and owners.

Be resilient and solutions-oriented, comfortable operating in a project-driven and fast-paced setting. Hold a MSc in Economics, Business Administration, or other relevant educational bacground.
