Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Junior Interior Designer, your responsibilities will include: Design Support: Assisting senior designers in all phases of the design process, from initial concept development to final project completion. Documentation:
Preparing and refining design documentation, including space plans, elevations, sections, details, finishes, and furniture specifications using relevant software. Research & Materials: Conducting research on materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and assisting in the selection and specification process. Technical Assistance: Supporting the team in ensuring design solutions are technically sound and compliant with relevant building codes and regulations. Presentation Support: Assisting in the preparation of client presentations and visual materials (e. g. , renderings, mood boards). Collaboration: Working closely with various internal teams including strategists, project managers, and construction teams to ensure integrated project delivery. Learning & Development:
Actively participating in learning opportunities, absorbing feedback, and continually developing your design skills and industry knowledge. Administrative Support: Performing general administrative tasks as required to support the design team and project workflows. Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. [Insert Number, e. g. , 0-2] years of experience in interior design, ideally with some exposure to commercial or workplace projects (internships included). Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Enscape/Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Basic understanding of building codes and construction processes relevant to commercial interiors, particularly within the Singapore context. Strong visual communication skills, with an eye for detail and aesthetics. Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and ability to take initiative. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
