Paruma Construction Ltd. (A Sister Concern of Bay Group) is looking for Unit HeadJob Description / ResponsibilityCivil Construction:Prepare project timelines, stage-wise deliverables and associated tasks.Review material and equipment requisition plans proposed by in-house engineers for each construction deliverable comparing to market rate.Coordinate with procurement team on negotiating with vendors/contractors, vendor/contractor selection if necessary.Explain Engineering Team desired outcomes and deadlines.Ensure project Constructions as per approved design & drawing.Ensure that safety and security measures are taken and maintained at project sites.Regularly liaison with project/site engineers to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.Take regular work updates from the site engineers.To keep updated records of design & drawing of all projects.Operation:Responsible for overall management of all construction projects at different places under Paruma Construction Ltd.Maintain relationship with different suppliers, vendors.Provide guidance for enhancing the internal operations of engineering departments/teams/work groups including Administration, Accounts, Store and Commercial etc.Follow up and manage costs in order to meet or stay under budget.Prepare periodic progress reports for management and give presentations when required.To ensure standard manpower setup proper utilization of manpower.Regulatory Issues:Ensure compliance issues at all level and everywhere.Ensuring updated records of different licenses- (i.e PWD, LGED, EGP, BGB, MES, NSC, CAAB)Educational RequirementsBachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil EngineeringMaster of Science (MSc) in Civil EngineeringBSc./MSc. in Civil Engineering from any reputed UniversitySkills Required: Civil ConstructionExperience Requirements15 to 20 year(s)Additional RequirementsEngineering degree from Public University will get preference.Job LocationGazipur
