About The FHSEThe University of Luxembourg is an international research university with a distinctly multilingual and interdisciplinary character. The Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE) at the University of Luxembourg brings together expertise from the humanities, linguistics, cognitive sciences, social and educational sciences. Your roleWorking closely with the administrative team in place, the postholder will handle general secretarial tasks. Provision of services; e. g. purchase orders, follow-up and verifying invoices, travelIncoming and outgoing mailGeneral secretarial tasks; e. g. phone calls, emails, organising trips, appointments, welcoming visitors, dispatchingOn-boarding and off-boarding of staff membersOrganisation of various events:

conferences, meetings, visits, symposiaInterfacing with central services and the Dean’s OfficeTracking and monitoring budgetsFollow-up of student contractsBooking rooms and service providers for events, including catering expenses Your profileAt least 3 years professional experience in administrationExcellent knowledge of MS office applications and the use of databasesKnowledge of SAP and BI is an assetBusiness fluency in English plus at least one of the other working languages of the University (French and/or German)Good numerical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills, service oriented, team playerProfessional and collegial, reliable, can do attitudeWe offerMultilingual and international character.
