$65,069 - $88,681 per annumYOUR FOCUSReporting to the Senior Executive Officer and Advisor, this position plays a pivotal role in developing, coordinating, prioritizing, shaping, and executing projects across the academic portfolio. Manage large scale projects under the leadership of the Senior Executive Officer and Advisor. Maintain project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Facilitate and guide project teams, including managing team dynamics, and fostering collaboration and motivation. Identify project stakeholders, communicate with them regularly, and manage their expectations throughout the project life-cycle. Identify potential risks to project success, develop risk mitigation strategies, and monitor risk throughout the project.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, such as meeting minutes, status reports, briefing notes, and project plans. Communicate project progress and outcomes by developing and delivering presentations tailored to specific stakeholder audiences. Responsible for carrying out the research, best practice review, and data collection for projects. Prepare regular progress reports, status updates, and presentations for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, issues, and achievements. Lead working groups, both within the Office of the Provost and across the institution, tasked with researching recent developments and designing and implementing innovation new best practices to address such developments.
Process and track expenses, reimbursements, invoices, and payments related to projects and events, ensuring timely and accurate processing, adherence to financial policies and procedures and ensuring financial accountability. Coordinate project-related events, including launch activities, communication milestones, and wrap-up sessions. What You BringUndergraduate degree supplemented with project management and/or public relations courses and experience. 3 years experience in a professional office setting managing projects. Additional StrengthsEffective communication including dealing with clients, donors and/or executives. Experience managing critical and sensitive issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work with high attention to detail despite frequent interruptions, competing demands and changing priorities.
