This individual will train under the collective mentorship of faculty affiliated with the Computational Pathology and Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence (CPACE), an interdisciplinary group of physician-scientists, informaticians, and computational researchers focused on AI and digital pathology.
This is a full-time training and research position designed to develop the next generation of leaders in computational pathology, artificial intelligence (AI), digital pathology, and biomedical image analysis. The postdoctoral associate will actively contribute to high-impact research projects and operational deployments that leverage whole slide imaging, multi-modal data integration, and deep learning for diagnostic and prognostic applications in pathology.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with CPACE faculty on projects involving the development, validation, and clinical integration of artificial intelligence and image analysis algorithms Work with large-scale pathology imaging datasets and leverage high-performance computing infrastructure Gain experience with FDA-compliant validation pipelines and CAP-accredited digital pathology workflows Participate in structured educational sessions on digital pathology, informatics, and machine learning Prepare abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations for national and international conferencesPreferred Qualifications MD or PhD (or equivalent) in pathology, biomedical engineering, computer science, bioinformatics, or a related field Experience or strong interest in computational pathology, image analysis, or machine learning Programming proficiency (e. g.
