Job Description

Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Recruits research subjects and conducts interviews and research assessments. Med-Plastic SurgeryEssential FunctionsThe Department of Plastic Surgery is hiring a Research Coordinator to work on a Department of Defense funded grant. This position will perform clinical research on machine perfusion of free flaps, free flap engineering and wound healing. The position will require the individual to work in a lab that operates on animals and will be responsible for monitoring their progress. This position will require the candidate to assess explant data and write manuscripts.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for contributing to quarterly and annual reports due to funding agencies.
